FLOWER CARE:

Fresh cut flowers: vase arrangements

  • Check water levels daily, some flowers will drink faster than others. Keep out of direct sun and high temperatures for longer lasting flowers.

ORCHIDS

  • Place in indirect sunlight and water one once a month with a quarter cup of water. Orchids like warm, humid spots if possible.

SUCCULENTS:

Jade

  • Needs very bright indirect light for at least 6 hours/day.
  • Keep soil moist but never soggy. Cut watering to once a month during winter months.

Kleinia Petraea

  • Trailing Jade plant
  • Water once a week
  • Loves light! Does best in moderate bright light

Elephant Bush

  • Water thoroughly and allow soil to go dry for a few weeks between waterings
  • Indirect bright light

Crassula Ovata - Gollum Jade

  • Lots of indirect light
  • Happy when fertilized once a month
  • Keep soil moist

Senecio

  • Full Sun, zone:10, will flower-yellow, max height 8”. Water thoroughly once soil fully dry

Aloe

  • Full sun, spray once a week if in a warm environment, avoid changing environments

Mateo Haworthia Mini & Zebra Variation

  • Bright indirect light, water only when soil dries out completely (same for both variations)

Agave

  • Full sun, no humidity, water only when 90% dry

Cacti

  • Soak to drink once 50% of soil is dry, no/low humidity, bright light

Mother of Millions

  • Stonecrop, zone: 9,10,11, size:up to 3ftbright/partial light, water when soil is fully dry, blooms in winter

SNAKE PLANTS:

Sansevieria

  • Water once a month, medium to bright indirect or low light direct

  • Same care as Sansevieria

GRASSES:

Lemongrass

  • Consistent moisture when top inch becomes dry, harvest at 12”, full sun

Dracaena Marginata Cane

  • Bright indirect light, can tolerate low light

Juncus

  • Full sun, consistently moist soil – hard to overwater

FERNS:

China Doll

  • Bright filtered light, does not like changing environment, needs consistent moisture & water when 30% dry

ASPARAGUS FERN

  • ndirect light w/ dappled shade, water when 25% of soil volume is dry, best in humidity, thrives in 60F-80F

PALMS:

Dracaena Massangeara Corn Plant

  • Bright indirect light, moist but never soggy soil – water when top 2” are dry, grows up to 6ft Indoors

Majesty Palm

  • Bright direct light, some leaves may fall once moved into a new home – new well-adjusted [to the environment] leaves will grow to fill in
  • Rotate ¼ once a month, likes humidity around 50%, liberal soak once top inch is dry

PERENNIALS:

Autumn Fire

  • Stonecrop/Sedum, Zone: 4-9, likes full sun, blooms in late summer, allow soil to dry between thorough waterings
